I admit to not being very familiar with Bolan and Ferry,
but I mean to correct that. I would count the Clash by
the way, but that's a whole different kettle-of-fish.

Bowie is indeed respectable, if only for his repeated
refusal to be knighted - that was what first piqued
my interest in him and his music.
