I'm furious at the both of you, but i realize that i'm being completely selfish and defensive of my own nostalgia (cutting myself short of a "when i discovered richard hell..destiny street on cassette.. blah blah.." tangent, which i think i covered in a post on here... jesus, ten years ago???)

here's what i learned... richard hell does what richard hell wants. not what you want. i learned that when he changed the cover of Blank Generation for the CD issue. myself, i thought he went from poetic to just plain fey as far as the picture choices went, but hey, guess what? doesn't do what i want, that's right.

richard's done whatever the fuck he's wanted/had to do to get by for many many years. don't fight it, don't ask question. opine all you want, but the ire's useless and will take years off your life.
