Uk vs US: Not an issue

Madam X, if you got the idea I was resurrecting the tired media talking point of US vs NU Punk, forget it; Art isn't competition, there is no 'best', as Art is not measurable in the same way sporting or scientific achievements are (other than by popularity, which I feel is pretty meaningless). I'm sure we're actually in agreement.

What I aimed to do was point out the difference between relative pioneers (-yes, everyine borrows something), the people I call 'Punk Rockers' and 'Punks', the mediated followers who reduce art to formulae. The terminology itself is unimportant of course.
