Hell's part in the Eno tapes

For what it's worth, Hell was not contributing to the group by the time those demos were made. He does play bass but of the six songs (I think) recorded in the sessions, the only one of his is an essentially mock "Blank Generation." He left the group right after because it had gotten so strained.
There is one widely available bootleg called Poor Circulation of early Television live that has passable versions of a few songs that Richard wrote (lyrics anyway) and sang in Television, such as "Eat the Light," "Excitement," "Change Your Channel," "Fuck Rock & Roll," and "Blank Generation." |
