lou reed is the best lyricist rock'n'roll have ever saw, along with dylan and morrissey. And I'm not illiterate (well, my english is pretty bad. But so what?). Put down everybody's hero doesn't make you interesting, man, that's an old trick. Velvet Underground: the best rock'n'roll band ever. Berlin, Street Hassle and Transformer: masterpieces, fucking classics. Blue Mask and Magic and Loss are awesome. Look, Lou Reed have created at least MORE than three new and amazing ways of play rock'n'roll. What the hell you expect? More than that? A brand new form of art in every fucking record he put out? I dare you to name 10 rockers who do more than that. I guess... nobody... maybe Beeffheart, maybe John Lydon, maybe George Clinton, but just maybe. Lennon? Bowie? Don't make me cry... Yeah, Lou can be pretty awful too and some of his records are full of crap but he's still a genius. Go home, listen to the records and shut your big mouths.
