i read ronnie spectors book.

it was unintentionally hilarious.

spector tried to hide the fact that he wore a wig from his (then new) wife. at night he switched off the lights sneaked out to the bathroom , where he doused his head in acetate to loosen the wig glue.


he would come back into the dark bedroom completely bald and smelling so strongly of the wig remover that ronnie said she almost fainted.

he would then sneak out early in the morning to reapply the rug hoping that shed not noticed that he was folically challenged.

he also wouldnt let her drive a new car he had bought her without a blow up dummy spector in the passenger seat that the butler had to dress every day.

.....allegedly.

all sounds perfectly normal to me.

ive been waiting for the blow up spector dummy to come onto ebay for years but it never does!
