Maybe some critical stuff got lost in the translation! ;-)
The exchange wasn't necesarilly political. I was just responding to that individual's assertion that we(Americans) are a bunch of ignorant posers. The implication being that he is 'authentic' because he resides in Argentina. Thus, I responded in Spanish to show him a counter-example to his prejudicial views on us 'ugly Americans'[this being my final reading]
The only personal thing that I said to him was that the next time he posts something in Spanish(to show us off) he should at least post something intelligent.
Otherwise, I would just have let it pass by and let Roy delete the Argentinian's post.
