Irrespective of eras or genres, if it sounds good it IS good. I hear a lot less exciting rock and roll music these days, but that's just ME...my opinion/tastes will differ from others'. Everyone's different I suppose. What I was originally saying is that it's nice to see young kids digging the music from the past. Sure, it's gone....but if it still sounds good to them, let them seek and discover the greats from days gone. I would never deny ANYONE of any age the pleasure that I got when I first heard the Blank Generation album. I still buy new stuff, but I still get a buzz when I dig up something old and good that I never heard before.
