you know, the truth is that it would be impossible to mention doing/seeing almost anything on this board without someone crying 'oh, you shouldn't do that, because my friend blah blah...and it's old and the scene is dead...and CBGB ain't what it was...blah...and i have a lot of resentments about...blah...and i don't like that band...and neither should you...'

so, tonight i'm going to a fraught Neon Boys rehearsal and then i'll go and shoot up with the Dolls, then we'll get ice cream and stare at the Statue of Liberty, just for fun.
