I'm very sad to hear it - I never saw RQ play, but his
recordings with Richard moved me in a big way -
I'll never forget my first exposure to the Voidoids
music, having come to it via being a heartbreakers
fan, I was knocked out by the splatter-jazz
spikiness of Quine's playing, and his defiantly
anti-rock star look, which was peversely very cool.
What a damn shame.
