There was nobody like Robert Quine. His guitar was the sound of downtown NY rock. I've never heard a guitar player who was able to play in that chaotic, experimental style and never sound like he was losing control. He harnessed that sound, man. He was the coolest looking guy on the scene, too. A true master.
