i saw a few of these at morrisseys meltdown festival the other day at the south bank in london.
most were of the new york dolls but he finished with some portapak footage of maxs kansas city.
the heartbreakers (w/out hell), patti smith, tuff darts, blondie etc.
then there was a clip of the heartbreakers with hell singing blank generation, i'm not sure of the year but everyone except hell had kinda shaggy hair and hell didnt move around to much (from what i'd read and seeing the "nightclubbing" footage i expected him to be more frenetic).
johnny thunders and walter lure put their arms round each other for the "ooh ooh ooooh ooh's"
looked great tho' i spose he's got the rest of the gig on tape as well.i hope it sees the light of day.

oh and on the minor celebrity front i saw bobby gillespie and andy weatherall sat in the audience.
