Recently, I pulled out my copy of Please Kill Me
after attending the premiere of Gabba Gabba Hey!, the Ramones musical that was staged in Perth, Western Australia and based (very) loosely on Dee Dee Ramone's formative years.
I'd like to know how Richard and friends survived in New York with little to no money. I know that Dee Dee hustled but no one else seemed to be concerned about where their next meal was coming from or paying rent.
