seriously, though, I tried to explain to James about 'hotdog flavored water', but he couldn't quite believe the stupidity of the slang. I was just guessing, but i wasn't SURE that it might not mean 'piss' instead - i didn't know how infantile (chocolate cake and lemonade, maybe?? anyone??) we were getting. I never heard the album in question, nor heard of it, so had to take the whole thing on good faith since james doesn't make these things up, because I also couldn't believe anyone would name something so stupidly and spastically, but there you have it. Madame, your further introduction of 'baby batter' to the conversation has been thoroughly enlightening, as well. I shall try using it in a sentence when selling children's books, perhaps, as if by accident, in mistaken confusion with cake batter.
