I just watched a brief extract of the gig I think
Richard's talking about in his article about
Thunders, a show in japan. It's unsettling to see
how ill he looks there - JT was always a skinny
guy, but he's got the look on him there I recognised
from seeing my granddad a couple of weeks
before cancer got him. Brrr. Unlike some shows I
saw, JT's actually trying to put on a good gig, but
doesn't seem to have the strength left. Scary
viewing. I'm reading Richard's piece again, it's a
fine bit of writing I think.
