Did anyone else happen to see the Sisters of Mercy on their recent 'smoke and mirrors' outing? I was given a ticket, and sadly it was a terrible show. I mean: you know how sequenced and bombastic they can be, but it was so leaden that they just crushed the 'life' out of everything. Yes, there was a lot of smoke. It was as though the whole 'smoke and mirrors' concept truly was a reference to fooling the old goth devotees into thinking that there was anything left to offer.
