Yeah, that whole 'Bromley Contingent' crowd surrounding the Pistols engaged in the most ridiculous high-school snobbery imaginable. Reading "England's Dreaming", I got the impression that, even as forty-somethings, they were still proud of that fact. Sad. At any rate, the Banshees did sound good in "The Punk Rock Movie"; nothing special, but solid and energetic.
