Actually, the Mitch I think about was the doorman for the Rat, which was Boston's CBGB's-bands like the Police, Go Go's, Replacements, Talking Heads, Ramones played their in their early days and yes, I saw Richard play there.

Anyways, Mitch was an older gentleman who took the money at the door-a white guy with goatee and afro, always dressed in three piece suit and because of a bout with throat cancer a device that he put up to his throat when he had to talk to tell you the admittance.
