The Secret Syde, those who put out the album "Hidden Secrets" in 1983 are back together. We got tired of seeing people auction off the Hidden Secrets album for 75 dollars a piece on the net and we didn't get crap for all that cash. So now, even tho some of us are gray and 40, like me, we are going to get the secret syde back together. Then we will wait for 20 more years until we are sixty so when the new album is getting 4000 bucks per copy we can all be millionaires and play golf. After all we deserve it. It took a lot of drugs, beer, and dirty jokes to keep that Secret Syde band together. We never got any of the huge, i mean HUGE bucks that are being paid out for Hidden Secrets. Everyone else did. That money could have been used to pay the rehab bills, the psychiatrists, and Dave's (bass player) german army uniform bills. Steve Devito is going to put out 3 new CD's of the Secret Syde---Hidden Secrets, the lost Secret Syde album known as "Erebus", a compilation of some rough Secret Syde studio recordings done with Wayne Larson, of the Laughing Soup Dish, and a CD of new Secret Syde material is on the way. Stand by folks. If insanity, death, or cocaine dont get in the way, the Secret Syde will be putting out some new recordings. We were dead, but we're better now! Now if we can only find a way to get the Go-Go Slutz back together, our onstage back-up vocalists (who put on the best live sex lesbian psychedelic act you've ever seen) then the world will be right again.
The Secret Syde line up is Jon Davies vocals, guitar, Wayne Larson, vocals, guitar, Steve Devito, vocals guitar, Dave Desantis, bass, mp38 submachine guns. We have been in the studio rehearsing. It's going great. New songs are "Madelaine, She is, Shadow,Dream Girl, Freak Parade" etc. Plus we will do all the Hidden Secrets album songs except for maybe "Moonlight Marine" which might be too long in this gerbil like attention span of the 21st century.
