I sort of made a similar observation regrading the ultimate effectiveness of full political discussions in a forum like this. Still, I could not help myself and dove right in!

Maybe things would not be so bad if you had a sub-forum for political discussions(and other unrelated topics). But I understand that the main focus is this forum.
