i am saddened as well by lizzy's passing
unfortunately travel to nyc is not possible this evening but i am with you in spirit
she left us a few gestures which mean so much
our loss of a future lizzy is a tragedy
as is the general recognition of her brilliance, but thos who encountered her in any form recognize how wonderful it was that she lived and how muchwe will miss in her early passing

myself, i found it incredible that i could find nothing about lizzy on the internet some 12 years ago and set up a small discography to fill that void
through that site i met a dozens of wonderful people around the world who shared a love of lizzy's work
and eventually i had a few emails and a letter from lizzy
her cousin seb once remarked in an email "she's a bird, you know" , a comment which seemed especially apt in our infrequent but flightful communications

i am still astounded that i could miss someone who i knoew so little, but i do not think that anyone ever knew lizzy casually
