Listened to a couple of songs by a band named The Rocks that were on a promo cd, and the singer sounded like an intentional version of Richard, unintentionally singing the abridged works of The Cult, with the intention of being the Stooges (yeah, THAT idea again, but maybe not quite as terrifying as that...)

They seem to be one of any number of theoretical hybrids of great elements of punk which cannot hope to transcend their references. Has anyone seen or heard them?
