Wow. I am really saddened by this news. I never met R. Quine or saw him play live but this guitar virtuoso really inspired me and it made me happy thinking that he was out there somewhere making new music that my ears may eventually have the pleasure of hearing. I can understand why his friends are so angry... I’m angry and sad and I didn’t even know him. It’s so difficult to loose people of such caliber. I mean, yeah, I learned how to play guitar, but no, not like that. Never like that. Sigh. Now I just have to go back to my life knowing that there’s one less possibility of enjoyment, satisfaction and inspiration and a sad end to a life. Yeah, this may sound like it’s all about me me me, but let’s face it, a fan’s life is all about me, the fan. Peace. |
