Punk has been the impetus for the progression of society.Everyone seems to forget about the futureistic nature of punk and new wave.It was before its time without a doubt.The time never arrived but it was aspiring to a new time well before anyone could have reasoned that would happen.It was incredible.And the people that were the movers and shakers (early punk-art1977)of it were other wordly.That sort of sensibility needs to be back since we are in the so called future of the projected past.
